New Landscaping to Celebrate Life

If you happened to visit us this past summer you may have noticed the beautiful landscaping made possible through the hard work of Incarnation staff members and volunteer, Claire O’Kell. The landscaping projects began in 2004 with alumni Will Randall giving the start to our now flourishing orchard. The following year, Will’s good work was augmented by Alex Marks, who began a more extensive landscaping effort, and generously gave funds to support planting. Today, their efforts don’t go unnoticed as the life they planted thrives throughout our camp and continues to inspire the efforts to beautify our land.

The orchard is a special addition, where fruit trees have been planted in memory and in honor of several friends of the Center. Plum, Pear, Cherry and Apple trees now stretch across the field adjacent to Katsanis Hall. Dedications of trees are still avail-able (for a gift of $80), and make a beautiful holiday gift for someone special. We look forward to sharing the new orchard with conference guests, campers and the local community for years to come.
